It all started with a line.

A small house that works slowly and cuts honestly. Every model is named after a person, and every shape is built on the same line.

I didn’t come from fashion. I studied nothing that would have prepared anyone for this. What I had instead was a habit of watching — movies, magazines, the way certain women carried themselves and certain bags carried them — and a feeling that I was on the wrong side of the screen.

For years, I built other businesses. Not because I loved them, but because they were the way in. Every one of them was a step toward being able to afford the thing I actually wanted to build. I never had a mentor in this industry, never had the shortcut of a fashion degree. What I had was one line I kept drawing — the same shape, again and again, in margins and on receipts, years before I understood what it was asking me to make.

Barcelona is where that line found its form. A city built on its own sense of design, and workshops with the patience to build a shape properly rather than quickly. Ache is what happened when I stopped watching and started making.

— Henry

There are brands built on logos, and there are houses built on structure. Ache belongs to the latter. It began not with a symbol, but with a line — and that line became H. Not as decoration. Not as branding. As construction. Every Ache piece is built around this invisible architecture: sometimes it appears in the handle, sometimes in the frame, sometimes only in shadow.

The House does not follow seasons. It follows proportion. It does not produce collections to replace themselves — it builds forms designed to remain. Each model carries an H-code, not to number objects, but to archive structure.

Ache does not chase novelty. It refines. A limited number of forms, a permanent collection, occasional tonal evolutions. The House believes repetition builds identity — and identity builds legacy.

The name Ache is rooted in the Spanish alphabet, where the letter H is pronounced ache — the same letter that opens our founder’s name.

A small turn of language, and the whole idea of the house: a personal journey folded quietly into the heart of everything we make.

The People Behind the Collection

Every design begins with someone. Some are lifelong friends; others are figures who quietly shaped the way I see beauty and confidence. The inspiration remains, but the House does not name loudly — true influence does not require introduction. The woman of Ache does not seek recognition. She recognises herself. She does not carry a logo. She carries structure.

Vicky

H07  Vicky

Inspired by Victoria, a friend from Barcelona.Watching her move through the city made me realise how difficult it is to find a bag that feels elegant enough for dinner yet practical enough to carry a laptop. Her days never fit into one category — and neither should her bag.

Vicky was designed for the rhythm of Barcelona: work, coffee, the beach, dinner, all in one day.

Mr Alber Crane

H06  Mr Alber Crane

Inspired by Alfred Pennyworth.Growing up, Batman was my favourite film. While everyone admired Batman, I was fascinated by Alfred — the person who quietly made everything possible. Reliable, thoughtful, always prepared.

Mr Alber Crane follows the same philosophy. It isn’t designed to steal attention; it’s designed to support everything else. The bag that carries what you need, every single day.

Pam

H05  Pam

Inspired by Pamela Anderson.Pamela Anderson was part of my childhood long before I understood who she really was. I remember watching Baywatch as a kid, completely mesmerised by her presence on screen. Years later I realised it wasn’t just beauty that stayed with me — it was the feeling of freedom, endless summers, a life that always seemed to happen somewhere between the ocean and the sunset.

Pam was designed to carry exactly that feeling. Spacious, effortless, ready to follow you from the city to the coast.

Alma

H04  Alma

Inspired by Salma Hayek. One of the films that stayed with me growing up was Bandidas. Watching Salma Hayek alongside Penélope Cruz opened the door to a world that felt completely different from my own — warm, passionate, confident, full of life. It was the beginning of my fascination with Spain and Latin culture, a fascination that would eventually lead me to Barcelona.

Salma carried herself with a rare balance of elegance and strength, softness and confidence. Alma reflects that same duality — a timeless silhouette with a quietly rebellious spirit.

Gia

H03  Gia

Inspired by Gia Carangi. What fascinated me was never her fame, but her spirit. She looked like the definition of elegance, yet beneath the surface she challenged every expectation — beautiful, fearless, impossible to fit into a mould.

Gia carries that same contradiction. Refined in appearance, unexpectedly bold in character.

Kristin

H02  Kristin

Inspired by Christine, my friend from Barcelona.Kristin was the first bag I ever designed. It wasn’t built around a trend or a market gap — it was inspired by someone whose quiet elegance always stood out to me. She has that rare ability to make simplicity feel sophisticated, and that became the foundation of the very first design in the collection.

Carrie

H01  Carrie

Inspired by Carrie Bradshaw.Few fictional characters have shaped my outlook on life as much as Carrie Bradshaw. Her idea of “single and fabulous” taught me that happiness doesn’t have to follow someone else’s expectations. That perspective gave me the confidence to build my own path, personally and professionally.

Carrie became the smallest bag in the collection because it celebrates exactly those moments — an evening out, a spontaneous dinner, a city walk where all you really need is confidence.
